Welcome to the store Folkologie
I’m the proud owner of the store Folkologie purchasing it in September 2023. My passion has always been homewares, interior styling and owning my own store has been a dream come true. I’m sixth generation locally born and raised in the Rylstone Kandos area. My sixth time great grandfather known as ‘Saddler Jim’ started his saddlery business in Rylstone in 1886.
Nestled on the edge of the world heritage national park, Rylstone is full of charm and beauty. Folkologie is located on the Main Street of a rustic sandstone village set on the picturesque Cudgegong river.
Folkologie is a curated retail establishment featuring a variety of locally and internationally sourced products that are carefully chosen and arranged to compliment the store, emphasising unique, artisan, and handcrafted goods. Folkologie thrives on my deep love and passion for all things regional & australiana.
